Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She served this role from 2021-2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015, and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017-2020. Her career in politics began in 2001, when she was working on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was then appointed press secretary in John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki worked as the communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary for Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as the press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. [20] On February 11 13th, 2013, Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State.  There was speculation she would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She was appointed communications director at the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end of 2015.
